I am passionate about uncovering the evolutionary and biogeographic history of reptiles and amphibians in one of the most complex regions of the world. My work combines extensive field research in conflict zones and underexplored areas with rigorous genetic and taxonomic analysis. I believe that biodiversity research must go beyond borders -- geographic, scientific, and political. I love photography.
